GagePort-to-USB cable
As USB ports have replaced COM ports on most computers, until now it has been necessary to adapt the G-C44x or A-68x cables to USB by using a serial-to-USB converter. Our USB GagePort Cable (G-C441-USB) provide a direct connection between a GagePort (GP-2102NT, GP-3102NT, GP-2104NT, etc.) and a USB port on a computer. It is intended as a USB alternative to the G-C440, G-C441, A-680 and A-681 cables that were intended for use with a computer's serial COM port.
The G-C441-USB powers the GagePort or GagePort stack from the wall outlet, just like the old G-C44x and A-68x cables. It is intended for heavier applications using more than a few Digital GagePorts and for analog applications including LVDT GagePorts. Please see the User's Guide for more information.
